Quality and quality control begin in the initial stages of mold design at Wycon.
Customer drawings undergo careful analysis for compatibility to mold design criteria. Selection of the thermoplastic resin to be used is reviewed to ensure that its characteristics will meet customer requirements.
Factors such as shrinkage rate, tensile strengths, chemical resistance, wall thickness, thread or rib configurations and gate locations are closely examined.
Wycon used Solid Works for mold design and GIBBSCAM for cutter paths.
